About the Awards

The awards provide objective testament of professional-grade quality. And yet, while there are shining examples of Scottish talent a-plenty, there are also a few black holes: notable Scottish brands, organisations and agencies who are notable by their absence.

Which is a pity because, as the old saying goes,
‘you’ve got to be in it to win it’.

So, we’d love to expand the universe of entrants and make the Star Awards as competitive as possible.

For not a lot of money and a little legwork, you could make a marked difference to your brand story. Just imagine winning. And you could win.

The Star Awards is a level playing field – proving its impartiality with awards for SMEs, small agencies and family businesses as much as for the household names and well-known marketing services firms. If you’re not sure how to go about entering, we even have inspiring sessions to help you.

But, even in a larger organisation, the Star Awards endorsement can help gather support for professional marketing process. Indeed, by bringing together all of your information in one short coherent case study, you’ve got ready-made evidence for senior stakeholders. And, not that such a thing would ever cross your mind, it might not be too bad for your career either.

There’s still a huge benefit to be gained even if you don’t win. Many people have said that the simple process of entering The Star Awards helped them see their marketing challenges in a new light – building confidence in their strategies, winning new respect and buy-in across the organsiation.

So, let’s shoot for the moon in 2017.
Even if you miss, you’ll fall among the stars.
