ANDREW COTTER | OUR HOST

We are pleased to delighted to welcome Andrew Cotter as our 2020 Host!

Andrew is a freelance broadcaster but is regarded as one of the leading commentators on the BBC’s golf, rugby, tennis and athletics coverage. Among the many events he has covered are The Olympic Games, Wimbledon, The Masters, Open and Ryder Cup, The 6 Nations, Rugby World Cup, World Athletics Championships and The Boat Race.

He started his career in local radio in Scotland before moving to the BBC in London in 2000.

Originally from Troon in Ayrshire, Andrew has a degree in French and Philosophy from The University of Glasgow. His own modest sporting success extends to representing Scottish Schools at golf and helped them to lose comfortably to England. He now lives in Cheshire and as you can see from some of his pictures and videos on Twitter, Youtube and Instagram, when not covering some of the world’s great sporting events, he’s usually up a mountain with his dogs Olive & Mabel - who are also the stars of Andrew's viral lockdown videos!

ARIELLE FREE | DJ

We are delighted to have Arielle Free joining us on October 22 for a post awards ceremony DJ set and party!

With her down to earth nature, Scottish TV Presenter and Radio DJ Arielle Free is one of the industry’s rising stars.

Arielle’s TV work has seen her present ITV’s ‘Scrambled’ whilst also hosting ITV’s hugely popular Love Island podcast ‘Love Island: The Morning After’. She co-presented the BBC Sounds popular podcast ‘Worst Dates’ alongside Luke Franks, which saw the duo and guests discuss the most embarrassing dates they have experienced.

2019 saw Arielle land her own Radio 1 Weekend Early Breakfast Show as well as presenting the backstage interviews for British Academy Scotland Awards and hosting the BAFTA Children’s Awards.

2020 will see Arielle host BBC Scotland’s brand new singing dating show ‘Love Song’ as well as an extra series of Love Island: The Morning After.

With her passion for new music and music festivals, Arielle sees most of her summers hot footing it around the UK’s biggest festivals including live hosting at Glastonbury and Bestival, BST, Wireless, Reading and Lovebox.

“I am really excited about our approach to the awards this year which will allow free access to the ceremony at a time when many companies are having a tough time financially and budgets are tight. The Zoom parties will also allow clients and their agencies to get together to celebrate with more members of their teams who may not normally have the opportunity to attend the event”.
