It brings me great pleasure to introduce The Marketing Society Star Awards 2022 call for entries.
The Star Awards are of course a date in the diary to look forward to with great anticipation, perhaps even more this time as we are able to meet again in person. Being able to reconnect whilst recognising amazing examples of your work and the creativity and resilience of our industry together again really feels like something worth celebrating.
The theme this year is Rebuilding Better, and I would like to extend a big thanks to Frame for creating this. The building blocks of great ideas, campaigns and teamwork have largely been constructed via virtual rectangular views into our home office, garden, or kitchen table over the past 18 months. Grand physical and emotive constructs have been formed nonetheless and the team have done a great job of bringing this to life whilst pointing to the opportunity that exists in being able to redesign fundamental elements of our work and industry in such a period of change.
The Star Awards are made stronger by the range and quality of entries that make the judges’ job ever harder. So, the next step is to recall the construction methods applied to your entries and tell us how you put together amazing things with them. I look forward to seeing you in person on the night.
